Please read this carefully. It explains what the numbers on this site mean — and what they do not.
1. Education, not advice
Everything on Vesting — calculators, rates, code lookups and articles — is provided for general information and education only. Nothing on this site is investment advice, a research report, a recommendation, a solicitation or an offer to buy or sell any security or financial product.
Vesting is not registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) as an investment adviser or research analyst, and is not licensed by the RBI, IRDAI or PFRDA. Before acting on anything you calculate or read here, please consult a SEBI-registered investment adviser, a chartered accountant, or another qualified professional who can consider your personal circumstances.
2. Calculators show estimates
Calculator results are mathematical illustrations based on the numbers and assumptions you enter — typically constant returns or interest rates, and unless stated otherwise they ignore taxes, fees, charges and inflation. Real-world outcomes will differ, sometimes substantially:
- Market-linked returns (mutual funds, NPS, equity) are not fixed or guaranteed. Past performance is not indicative of future results.
- Interest rates on deposits, loans and small-savings schemes change over time; verify current rates with your bank or the scheme's official source.
- Tax calculators reflect our understanding of tax rules at the time of writing; tax law changes (including annual Budget changes), and your actual liability depends on your complete circumstances. They are not a substitute for professional tax advice.
Mutual fund investments are subject to market risks. Read all scheme related documents carefully.
3. Rates are indicative
Gold, silver and currency exchange rates shown on this site are indicative, sourced from third-party data providers, and may be delayed or differ from the price at which you can actually transact. Local jeweller prices include making charges, GST and local premiums; bank and remittance exchange rates include margins and fees. Always confirm the live rate with the counterparty before transacting.
4. Reference data — verify before you transfer
IFSC, SWIFT and PIN code data is compiled from public sources and updated periodically. Banks merge, branches close, and codes change. Before initiating any money transfer, verify the code with your bank or the recipient, and verify postal codes with India Post. Vesting is not responsible for failed, delayed or misdirected transactions.
5. Articles and external links
Blog posts and guides are educational commentary, not personalised recommendations. Links to external websites are provided for convenience; we do not control and are not responsible for their content.
6. No liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vesting and its operators accept no liability for any loss or damage — direct or indirect — arising from the use of, or reliance on, any tool, rate, data or content on this site. Your financial decisions are your own. See also our Terms & Conditions.
